About Don Walters

Don is an audiovisual expert with over 40 years experience in the design and implementation of systems covering areas of this field that include everything from large venue live staging to commercial integrated audiovisual systems for conference centers, command and control centers and corporate enterprises. In addition to his current systems design engineering position, he has a broad background in the audiovisual field - having filled roles as a technology design consultant, manager of technical operations for audiovisual systems integrators along with 20+ years as a media control system programmer. With Don\'s extensive background in control system design and programming, he is always designing with an eye toward the user experience - keeping the user interface as simple as possible while maintaining the complexity of overall systems operations transparent to those who are interacting with the technology.Don also continues to maintain a hands-on role in systems implementation, configuring and testing audiovisual, control and network components in the pre-installation shop test phase for more complex systems and works closely with senior programming staff to ensure a thorough stress test on a system prior to deployment.Security Clearance - Top Secret/SCI (active)
