About Don T. Forse
With almost three decades in public policy, government relations and disaster recovery, Don has assisted teams, organizations and communities overcome challenges while becoming stronger and more resilient. Prior to his private sector work, Don spent two decades actively engaged in shaping Texas public policy as a senior staffer in the Texas House of Representatives, Texas Senate and Texas General Land Office (TXGLO). Through eight regular sessions of the Texas Legislature, Don worked extensively on a broad spectrum of issues including regulated industries, economic development, state budget, land use and coastal issues. Don also served as the Government Affairs and Policy Director for TXGLO, the lead agency for managing CDBG-DR funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and also the agency designated for administering short-term housing recovery following Hurricane Harvey in partnership with FEMA.
