Global Risk Policy Senior Manager, Loyalty Programs and Abusive Buyer @eBay

As a policy manager, my work profile continues to be the “one stop shop” for ownership of several processes as parallel workstreams. The intent is driving these projects while ensuring losses are held to the budgets handed down by executive leadership. This includes policy standards, workflow documentation, risk program management for all projects within my domain knowledge and open collaboration with colleagues. o Global policy maintenance of loyalty programs guideline started building within my previous role. This is led to partnerships with external partners including vendors and government entities include NCFTA (National Cyber-Forensics and Training Alliance) as a subject matter expert on gift card fraud. o Creation of updated strategy, tools, queue prioritization structure, and workflow documentation for front line teammates to begin pivoting towards a managed payment environment. This includes the work needed to intentionally move as many checks from post payment to pre-auth capture as possible to reduce exposure from stolen credit cards or ATO purchasing. o Portfolio onboarding from a buyer perspective is being crafted as a longer-term project based on value and risk to segment buyers. Longer term projects are in flight to intentionally to curate this population through pre-transaction vetting to enable differentiated experiences removing friction points for trusted buyer population sets while expanding friction for high risk/highly abusive. o Single point of contact to ensure a successfully migration of high risk categories migrate into managed payments include gift cards, bullion, misc. other categories with additional buyer KYB to facilitate (age verification, license collection, etc).
