Our second community is on Taylor Way in West Vancouver, BC, one of Canada’s most affluent cities. It opened in November 2016.With an extensive background in real estate development, property acquisition and management, and with Canada\'s premier operator of high acuity assisted living and memory care (Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan\'s BayBridge Senior Living) as partner and operator, Maison is uniquely and strategically positioned to grow quickly and profitably.

ABOUT DON MILLIKEN
Don Milliken, Chairman and founder of Milliken Developments, is a seasoned real estate development leader. Since 2010, Milliken Development’s sole focus has been the creation and expansion of premium senior living communities. Milliken, often in partnership with Amica Senior Lifestyles, provides boutique, very high quality – Assisted Living and Memory Care residences for seniors. Recently, Milliken has been adding Independent Living to create a Senior’s Continuum of Care.Milliken’s first senior living community, Maison Britannia, opened in SW Calgary in December, 2013. Amica Lions Gate, previously Maison Senior Living, West Vancouver, opened in November, 2016 (Phase 1 - all care) and September, 2022 (Phase 2 - independent living). Amica Jubilee House Phase 1 (an all care building) opened in Victoria, B.C. in December 2023. More seniors’ developments are in the construction and planning stages in Central Victoria, BC, including Amica Jubilee House Phase 2. Prior to focusing on senior living communities, Milliken Developments was involved in creating unique, inclusive, full city-block urban mixed-use developments in central Seattle and downtown Bellevue, Washington. The company completed five award-winning urban projects valued at approximately $1Billion, featuring combinations of large supermarkets, additional retail spaces, condominiums, rental apartments, and a four-star hotel. These developments have revitalized central neighborhoods in Seattle.
