ABOUT DON FESSLER

Donald F. Fessler, Jr. provides legal counsel and representation primarily in the area of workers’ compensation. He is chairman of the workers’ compensation section of the Erie County Bar Association Since 1988, Attorney Fessler has been representing employers, insurance carriers and employees. He regularly appears before workers’ compensation judges throughout Northwestern Pennsylvania, the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board, and the Commonwealth Court. He has argued before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He is certified as a specialist in the practice of workers’ compensation law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Section on Workers’ Compensation Law as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He has made presentations on workers’ compensation topics at various seminars and speaking engagements. Attorney Fessler was the President of the ECBA in 2012. He is a Trustee for Marquette Savings Bank. Additionally, Attorney Fessler provides counsel in matters of general civil litigation and residential real estate. He provides legal assistance to property owners concerning real estate tax assessments. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association; the Erie County Bar Association; The Workers Compensation Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association; and the Pennsylvania Defense Institute. He is a Past-President of the Erie County Bar Association.He sits on the Board of Trustees for Marquette Savings Bank. Attorney Fessler received both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Notre Dame.
