ABOUT DON SAMUEL A.

I am an MSci Medicinal & Biological Chemistry student at the University of Nottingham with a long-term commitment to tackling antimicrobial resistance, neglected tropical diseases, and the broader burden of complex disease.My academic focus is on molecular mechanisms: how enzymes function, how resistance evolves, how biological pathways fail, and how therapeutics can be rationally designed from first principles.Alongside scientific training, I study the systems required to translate discovery into real-world impact: capital formation, industrial scale-up, and incentive design. I am also particularly interested in how programmable financial infrastructure and decentralised technologies can improve resilience and access in global health and emerging markets.My long-term aim is to help build platforms and institutions capable of delivering high-impact therapeutics to underserved populations at scale.
