Currently working in the Information Security & Data Protection function at Yodel. My role spans across Information, Cyber Security as well Data Privacy and Protection as part of a team.Working in the logistics industry offers a unique insight into what it takes to protect data along its journey, from the time it is received into the network to the time that parcel lands at the customer\'s door, including the final POD image. We are an organisation that heavily undertakes software development to support our operations. Consulting on and managing security requirements within an Agile software development as well as for Network and Infrastructure projects is a key part of my role, in addition to everyday threat hunting and security operationsSiloed certainly does not describe what I do. I believe in having as close to a 360 degree view and engagement in these disciplines as possible. Only then can you approach current security challenges from a true position of knowledge and understanding.
