Act as a business partner and corporate leader within the executive management team• Lead and manage the internal legal department• Represent the company with third parties, including external law firms• Serve as a key negotiator in strategic transactions and litigation matters • Provide accurate legal advice to management on all issues impacting the business• Supervise compliance, risk management, and legal services teams• Participate in executive meetings regarding the company’s future direction, ongoing mergers and acquisitions, and policy changes• Draft vendor contracts and agreements with subcontractors• Ensure that the company complies with all laws applicable to business operations• Manage relationships with Canadian securities regulators (OSC and AMF), the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, as well as stock exchanges (CSE, OTC, Nasdaq)• Ensure that Tenet remains in full compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and stock exchange policies• Manage the company’s relationships with its external legal counsel and advisors• Support the commercialization of Tenet’s data-driven product offering• Oversee legal and regulatory matters related to Tenet’s expansion of operations beyond Canada and China
