About Dominic Lopez
I am currently a Manager in Risk Management at Netflix and have over 15 years’ experience in risk management and insurance. I work in all aspects of Corporate and Production insurance programs and objectives. This includes working with the team\'s cross functional partners, including legal, physical production, safety/security, finance, labor relations, business affairs, creative and others to identify risks inherent to the operations of production to mitigate and monitor the Company\'s operational and strategic risk. Prior to my arrival at Netflix, I began my career as a risk analyst at Marsh McLennan’s two-year rotational training program designed to provide an accelerated career path through structured and experimental learning in client management and advisory. After my first two years, I was promoted to an Associate Advisory Specialist position where I worked within their multinational practice, which is responsible for managing insurance programs around the globe. After four years of experience that allowed me to gain expertise and credibility, I was offered a position within Aon’s brokerage group, where I was responsible for understanding the trends of the property & casualty insurance marketplace, negotiating with insurance carriers and developing solution-driven products for clients.I received an MBA and Bachelor\'s degree from the University of Southern California and attended Loyola High School of Los Angeles.
