Efficiently applying past data center experience on new confidential client facilities – both colocation and hyperscale using client standards and BODs. •Implementing efficient heating and cooling for administrative area space utilizing a DOAS unit with ERV and VRF system. Coordinating ventilation requirements with region specific applicable codes. •Utilizing an air-cooled chiller plant with CRAHs for data hall and electrical room cooling. •Coordinating equipment and design layout with all trades. •Completion of chilled water piping and duct pressure drop calculations for large-scale data center projects. •Providing boundary conditions to the CFD subconsultant, along with the site layout, in order to determine the effect, the on-site generators have on the NOx concentration at the building intakes and temperature / humidity that may affect the site equipment. •Expanding on schematic level design for O’Hare Global Terminal (OGT) through MER design and full layout. •Collaborating with senior engineers to think outside of the box on providing effective solutions to align with architectural visions. •Leading and facilitating the Engineering Development Training (EDT) Program for first year engineers. •Teaming up with others to provide a fun and educational environment for the Chicago office through Syska Employee Network of Support & Education (SENSE) by introducing monthly events reflecting business development, technical assistance, and community outreach. •Advocating for an improved workplace culture through the Cultural Advocate Team (CAT) by taking on initiatives to clearly outline the opportunities that are available around the firm. •Assisting upper management in the interview process for internship and entry level positions. •Mentoring interns and Engineer I’s by providing design guidance. •Creating working relationships with external consulting teams and clients on meetings – online and in-person.
