Key responsibilities include- Budget Formulation & Execution: Perform budget formulation and execution tasks, including supporting the Program Planning and Budget Execution (PPBE) and Phasing Plan processes. Provide guidance to project teams in executing the budget and ensure operating plans conform to financial requirements- Financial Reporting: Monitor, track, and analyze financial reports on project obligations, and costs using SAP and Business Objects (BOBJ). Conduct variance analysis and update Monthly Status Reports (MSR) and financial charts for division reviews, identifying major variances and providing explanations- Contractor 533 Analysis & Forecasting: Review and analyze contractor 533 reports to assess financial needs, track cost pool trends, and forecast future financial requirements. Allocate resources based on approved operating plans and ensure that contract tasks are adequately funded using FCS, CORTS, and SAP Purchase Requisitions (PRs)- Labor Trend Analysis: Analyze project labor trends and provide monthly reports on labor variances against budget plans- Phasing Plans: Allocate financial resources based on operating plans and track their execution. Provide monthly analysis reports to program managers, ensuring costs are aligned with the PPBE phasing plan and funding levels- Process Improvement & Reporting Automation: Streamline forecasting, reporting, and financial management processes using advanced Microsoft Excel techniques. Automate financial reporting to improve accuracy and efficiency in delivering actionable insights.
