Before joining Apple, I was AGC for Meta’s eDiscovery and Information Governance EMEA team based in London. I worked cross-functionally to partner with legal, product and organisation teams to provide strategic legal advice relating to Electronically Stored Information (ESI) across all aspects of the staged processes of the electronic discovery reference model (EDRM) in legal matters. My primary focus was on identifying, preserving, collecting, reviewing and disclosing Big Data related to Meta’s products and services across litigation, regulatory enforcement and investigation legal matters. I am passionate about Corporate Social Responsibility and have been actively involved in internal CSR efforts at Meta including volunteering on the London Social Good Committee, the EMEA Legal Community Service Committee, the EMEA DEI Legal Mentoring Programme and the Meta Schools Mentoring Scheme - devising, organising and delivering ways to raise awareness and funds for charitable and community causes in need. I am a qualified solicitor in England & Wales, a member of Women in eDiscovery, Working Group 6 Sedona Conference - electronic international information management, discovery and disclosure (and its European Developments Committee). I am a graduate of Brunel University’s Law School (LLB Honours Degree) and the now University of Law, Guildford (LPC Postgraduate Diploma). Prior to joining Meta, I spent a decade as a commercial disputes and investigations lawyer both in private practice and in-house acting on various complex High Court, ADR and International Arbitration matters. I’m experienced at advising on data and document driven topics including:• cross-border data transfers/management• preservation of evidence and meta data •scoping and managing legal holds for custodians and data sources • data protection & privacy considerations• privilege (national, EU and cross-border)• confidentiality• disclosure obligations related to data under Court and arbitration rules (including the IBA Rules on Evidence)• managed reviews - availability and use of TAR/CAL and production specifications • specific requests for further information/documents in EC competition/regulatory matters and in general litigation and arbitration.I am always keen to discuss non-executive positions and volunteering across ESG and CSR opportunities to support communities and charitable causes.
