ABOUT DOMINIQUE YARON-BARIR

I am scientist and business innovator with a track record in pharma (ALK), venture capital (Pontifax VC), and life sciences consulting. I am currently based in NYC, with past experiences from Israel, the UK and Nordics, all incredible hubs of scientific and technological innovation. This background enables me to connect ideas and opportunities across continents, fostering global connections in healthcare, VC, tech, and biotech. I am currently an MBA candidate at Columbia University where I am enrolled in the Healthcare & Pharmaceutical Management Program as well as the application-based Columbia Venture Fellows program. As a Venture Fellow, I evaluate investment opportunities for Columbia University\'s Lang Center and have partnered with Max Ventures to write an investment thesis focused on digital transformation in healthcare. Beyond my professional pursuits, my passions include musical theatre, education in social and emotional learning, and gastronomy. I leverage my performance background in musical theatre improvisation and non-profit experience in education to conduct improv workshops aimed at enhancing emotional intelligence and teamwork for companies, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions.
