As the Business Development Representative for Televerde Foundation, I am responsible for identifying and developing opportunities for corporate philanthropy, sponsorships, partnerships, and grants with organizations who are actively pursuing social impact initiatives. I have a passion to create change with focus on second chance hiring, fueled by a strong desire to have a significant impact on the lives of women with felony convictions and disenfranchised communities. My personal experience in the criminal justice system helps me to speak authentically to the barriers that come with such circumstances, allowing me to connect with organizations, creating change and introducing the value of second chances. I have a true passion for making a difference by cultivating a culture of equality and empowerment with firsthand understanding of the stigma associated with returning citizens and the much-needed support and resources necessary to ensure a successful transition and personal transformation.
