ABOUT DOMINIQUE DAYE HUNTER

As the Founder and CEO of D. Daye Hunter Designs & Consulting LLC, I help Afro-Indigenous, Black, and Indigenous peoples reclaim their stories so they can heal, lead with purpose, and thrive across generations. I work with impact-driven organizations to deepen their cultural competency around the intersections of Black and Indigenous identity—helping them build trust, reduce harm, and drive inclusive, equitable outcomes. I create at the crossroads of storytelling and social and environmental justice healing—amplifying voices and fostering change through the power of narrative transformation and inclusive fourth spaces. I specialize in cultivating culturally grounded and sustainable leadership and team development through mindfulness and restorative practices that are trauma- and healing-informed, with a focus on wellness and equitable collaboration. I bring this to life through tailored workshops, on-demand trainings, culturally responsive curricula, keynote speaking, and creative projects. Whether I’m consulting on inclusive strategy, facilitating a transformative learning experience, or sharing ancestral wisdom through my books and talks, my approach is relational, intuitive, and legacy-minded. I’m currently pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing and living in Šaunhuntakot*(Raleigh-Durham, NC), building bridges through every story I tell and space I hold. If you’re ready to lead with integrity, reimagine collective impact, and harness the transformative power of story to shift culture and create lasting change—let’s connect.*Pronounced: sha-OON-hoon-TAH-koht
