About Dominique Choe

After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in English from Erskine College, I decided to branch out and become an English teacher in Korea. After working as an English teacher for a year, I returned home to SC, where I worked as a legal assistant at Cahoon Law Firm, LLC. I am taking the valuable skills I’ve learned from my experience as a legal assistant to the University of Baltimore School of Law.I have experience in different fields such as Admissions, Politics, and Teaching. I consider myself to be a “jack-of-many-trades.” I won’t pretend to be skilled in everything, but I am skilled in many ways. I have honed my soft skills in communication, problem solving, and teamwork through my undergraduate training and my work experience, and I am prepared to learn the hard skills necessary for any job I enter. I have always enjoyed meeting new people and getting to learn about others’ experiences and lives. I am not actually OCD, but I do pride myself on making sure that the work that I turn in is the best it can possibly be. I volunteer for tasks that need to be completed, I am eager to learn new things, and I am open to constructive criticism to become better.I am currently interested in a possible future in media/entertainment, copyright, or trademark law, but am excited in the prospect of learning about multiple fields of law in my remaining time at the University of Baltimore School of Law.
