ABOUT DOMINIK MEYER

Experienced IT leader with a robust background of 20+ years in digital transformation, software development, project management, and business growth. As Senior Vice President Consulting Services at CGI, I am responsible for our business in the Greater Stuttgart Metro region (Baden-Württemberg), with a strong focus on the industries Automotive, Finance, Manufacturing, Energy & Utilities, Health, and Services. I lead high-performing consulting teams and help our clients succeed through tailored, end-to-end digital solutions.Previously, I served as Managing Director at Novatec Consulting, where I oversaw client-facing business operations, including project delivery, marketing and sales, and new business development. During my time at Novatec, I held various leadership roles and helped shape the company’s strategic direction and growth – including the expansion of our Spanish subsidiary and the development of a thriving Software Engineering business unit.I began my coding journey with a Commodore C64 in the late 1980s, writing programs and small games in BASIC. Over the years, I expanded my skills to include languages such as C, Delphi, Java, HTML, JavaScript, and more. At 18, I founded a small web development company. After completing my high school education (Abitur), I joined IBM’s dual study program at Berufsakademie Stuttgart, graduating in 2006 with a Diploma in Applied Computer Sciences (Diplom Informatiker (BA)).At IBM, I worked as a software developer focusing on the performance of IBM’s BPM product, WebSphere Process Server (later IBM BPM). I later transitioned to an international consulting role, supporting European clients on-site in critical situations. In 2012, I joined Novatec Consulting, where I led and grew the connected car project for a major automotive OEM. Over nearly a decade, I held various project roles, including lead developer, architect, and business analyst, and successfully expanded our project team to over 40 people. I took on several leadership roles at Novatec, crafting the Software Engineering business unit and building up our Spanish subsidiary, Novatec Software Engineering España, from 2016 on. In 2021, I was appointed Managing Director of Novatec Consulting, where I oversaw our client-facing business, including project delivery, marketing and sales, and new business development until Novatec\'s merger with CGI in March 2025.
