As a Full Stack JavaScript/TypeScript Engineer at Zoro UK, a UK e-commerce platform for industrial supplies, I was responsible for end-to-end feature development and system optimization across the entire product lifecycle in a hybrid environment. My primary focus was on building scalable, performant, and resilient applications using modern JavaScript/TypeScript technologies. On the frontend, I developed and maintained interactive user features using React.js and Next.js with Tailwind CSS; on the backend, I designed and supported Node.js (hapi.js) Microservices deployed using AWS Lambda. I ensured code quality and system reliability by championing Test-Driven Development, implementing robust Unit Testing (Jest) and End-to-end Testing (Cypress), and executing complex data and system Integration Testing with enterprise systems like MongoDB, SAP Sales & Distribution, and Salesforce Lightning. Operating within an Agile framework, I managed the full development and deployment cycle (Jenkins, GitHub, Jira), ensuring all technical solutions directly enhanced the operational efficiency and customer-facing functionality of the e-commerce platform.
