Nedco is a comprehensive distributor of Electrical and Datacom products in Canada. The Quebec division comprises of 17 locations throughout Quebec and the Ottawa region which includes 1 main distribution centre and 2 regional hubs and employs close to 200 team members. Division Operations Manger Oversee all Operations, Logistics and Information Technology for the Quebec Division As a member of the Leadership team, deeply involved in the day to day functions of the business as well as all sales strategies and budget initiatives. Implemented Freight Reduction Plan for the division and successfully engaged Regional and Sales Managers to realize 18% reduction in premium freight and overall freight savings of 33bps over 2018 through continuous audits and corrective actions. Intiated Freight Recovery Plan for the division and with the engagement of the Operations and Sales teams realized a positive gain of $90K during the initial launch in 2019. Part of the steering committee on selecting a new vendor for a National WMS & TMS system and co-lead on the Beta site implementation of the WMS & TMS at the Quebec DC. As Business Unit Manager - IT, part of the development and testing team for the new Dynamic Menu System for our existing AS400 mainframe as well as the new web based interface for the AS400 (Presto). Plan, monitor and achieve budgets in collaboration with the GM and Controller, and conduct quarterly business reviews with the Rexel Executive Committee. As a member of the leadership team, conducted vendor reviews twice a year as well as one on one visits with the GM. Part of the Digitization Team for Rexel Canada to effectively reduce pain points in our administrative procedures, packet reports and sundries approvals. P&L responsibility for the division HR, Recruitment and Employee Integration & Retention.
