ABOUT DOMINIC HILL

Hi! I\'m Dom I’m a second-year Computer Science student at the University of Manchester with a strong interest in solving challenging problems and building creative software solutions. I’ve worked on a range of projects, from developing a video synthesis app to building a platform for academics, enabling me to pick up new technologies quickly. As a Computer Science Lead at the Manchester MedTech Society, I provide insights and perspectives from the field of computer science to support the society’s innovative approach to healthcare challenges. In my role as a PASS (Peer Assisted Study Scheme) leader, I help first-year students navigate their studies, creating a supportive and collaborative learning environment. Recently, I won the Kate Kneebone Acorn Bursary and excelled at my first hackathon, earning two sponsor prizes for a Python-powered web application.
