In this position, I was tasked with transforming a modest procedure center into a large-scale surgery center functioning at standards. To accomplish this, I standardized surgical care, presented deliverables and presentations to my executive director, reduced cost structure as we established the most optimal staffing model, identified opportunities to reduce cost with the supply ordering model, built relationships with urology clinics for client referrals and use of our facility, assisted with pitch preparation for use of new technologies, coaches, and mentor junior staff such as junior leaders and team leads, ensure all staff training records, position profiles are completed and up to date, optimize revenue and patient safety by implementing new surgical procedures and processes, supported marketing initiatives in the community and helped with reputation management. I also functioned as a clinical RN, utilized C-Arm technology for procedures, circulated cases, created orientation protocols for new employees, and was instrumental in physician education as we implemented new technologies to better serve our patients.
