ABOUT DOMINIC WAY
Dominic is a chartered fire engineer and a Director of the Glasgow office, which serves the whole of Scotland as well as supporting other offices throughout the rest of the UK and Ireland. Dominic\'s current role as director is to support senior engineers and associates within his Glasgow team. Dominic is also the ESG Champion for BB7\'s Cycle 7 initiative and is passionate about: Responsible companies; the environment; and people\'s performance and wellbeing. Having worked at three different consultancies over an 18 year period, Dominic has a broad and sound knowledge of fire engineering within the construction industry in both existing buildings. Dominic’s years of experience have given him a broad base of both fire engineering and fire risk management. He originally started his career specialising in CFD and smoke control, which provided him with a good grasp of fire engineering principles. He has also served on committees including British Standards.Over his career he has had experience in England, Scotland and the Middle East. He has worked with NFPA, IBC and Saudi Arabia Building Codes.Dominic has been involved in external wall work reviewing external walls on site and undertaking EWS1 reviews and reports.
