As an Accounting Assistant within the Product Accounting team at Atos, I contribute to the financial integrity and smooth operation of NS & I product accounts. My responsibilities include- Daily Reconciliations and Reporting: Producing and reviewing daily financial control reconciliations to confirm the accuracy of NS & I product transactions, including sales, refunds, and account balances- Communicating Settlement Figures: Compiling and distributing daily settlement splits for various sales channels to relevant internal teams- Issue Investigation and Resolution: Identifying and escalating technical discrepancies or unexplained imbalances in account data to appropriate teams for resolution- Month-End Reporting: Preparing and finalizing monthly reconciliations for submission to key stakeholders, such as the Bank of England or HM Treasury, ensuring compliance with strict deadlines and accuracy standards.I leverage advanced tools like Microsoft Excel (including VBA macros) and specialized accounting software to streamline workflows and ensure compliance. I am exploring the existing Tableau infrastructure to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement, with a focus on improving reporting processes and contributing to broader workflow efficiencies.By maintaining meticulous attention to detail and fostering proactive communication across teams, I support Atos\'s mission to deliver reliable digital solutions that drive positive societal and business outcomes.
