With more than 30 years of program and project management, I have an outstanding record in leadership and management, communication, personnel management, and planning and execution with proven results. As a US Navy Nuclear Officer, I successfully planned and executed detailed, multi-million dollar projects associated with the maintenance and upkeep of nuclear submarines. As a certified naval Quality Assurance (QA) officer, I implemented QA standards and managed all aspects of personnel management from training and certification to job placement in a matrix infrastructure. Once retired from the US Navy, I used those skills to manage a multi-million dollar Information Technology (IT) contract. I was primary interface to the client, managing migration from a physical to a virtual environment, all hardware and software implementation philosophy, information assurance, System Life Cycle Development (SDLC), certification, and training. Eight year of international experience working in two US Embassies in Latin America. Comfortable working within an interagency environment. Worked closely with personnel within the Department of State, Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), US Agency for International Development (USAID), and Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) for example.
