About Dominic Competti

Dominic is an interior architect and designer based in McLean, Virginia. Competti Residential is the culmination of over 10 years of experience leading high-end residential interior design and construction projects. Dominic earned his bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Miami University of Ohio, where he developed a strong understanding of spatial planning, balance and proportion. He is ever-inspired by a great \"before and after\", and his passion is rooted in taking any home and transforming it into its full potential. While Dominic’s personal design aesthetic usually includes clean, modern lines and a neutral color palette–he is skilled in his ability to listen to his client’s needs and elevate their ideas into unexpected, beautiful spaces. Before launching his own business, Dominic worked as a project manager for a Design/Build firm in McLean, Virginia, focused on full-scale interior renovations, additions, and new construction. Following this experience, Dominic worked as a leading designer for RH (Restoration Hardware) for over four years on projects for both domestic and international clients.In addition to working on his client’s projects, Dominic has successfully purchased, transformed, and sold numerous homes over the past 5 years and continues to take on new development projects in the DC area. Dominic is grateful for an amazing client base and currently runs a predominantly referral-led business.
