I currently work for Accord Housing Association as a Quality Control Inspector within the construction team. My job is to ensure all my developments are encompassing the philosophy of zero defects along with continuous improvement with the highest possible quality. I am also responsible for making sure projects are completed in accordance with the contract documentation. So I am involved from the pre contract stages through to handovers. Some of my daily tasks are:Attending site meetings frequently Producing documentation for each siteRegular site inspectionsMonitoring contractors and consultants performanceLiaising with tenants, residents and other members of staff in other departments Undertaking pre handover inspectionsAttending retention inspections with consultantsAttending training courses as and when required Monitoring Health and Safety on sites Mentoring trainees
