I\'ve worked at SimCorp on their Client Communications and Reporting Automation offering. This involved designing the User Experience for their cloud based Digital Engagement Platform that investor users are able to access on-the-go. This work has helped raise awareness about the value of design and set the stage for more ambitious innovation. Recently, I\'ve branched out into other areas of the SaaS business such as Investment Operations and Accounting and in addition to this I\'ve been driving advocacy in favour of a company-wide Design System to support a cohesive ecosystem of software, increase engineering efficiency and decrease time to market.

ABOUT DOMINIC BARNARD
Since 2006 I\'ve worked in the digital product design space in various roles. My job roles have included Graphic Designer, Web Designer, Frontend Developer, UX/UI Designer, Software Designer, and Experience Designer but in the end they all share a common goal - To deliver positive outcomes for people and businesses through software and services. As a versatile designer I have no strict workflow and instead, adapt design strategies to the business conditions before me as well as applying different skills and design tools as required. My days often look very different depending on whether I\'m doing research, sketching, wireframing, prototyping, coding, or even raising awareness about the value of design to set the stage for more ambitious innovation. I\'ve worked at SimCorp on their Client Reporting offering and recently branched out into other areas of their SaaS business such as Investment Operations and Accounting. In 2022 I was driving advocacy in favour of a company-wide Design System to support a cohesive ecosystem of software, increase engineering efficiency and decrease time to market. During the year I also attended online conferences to learn more about the intersection of Design and Business. For the year ahead I hope to sharpen the UX skills I have already and continue to provide thought provoking design solutions to researched problems that benefit people across the entire value chain.
