Hi, I\'m Dominic Bianco, a young, hard-working, educated, and ambitious individual. Looking to develop my career in the Charlotte Metro Area and beyond. Leadership: belongs on the front lines, leading by example. Here’s my leadership story: To get my nephew more active in the summer and to overcome his fear of swimming, we started doing swim lessons together. Although we started just with treading water, I was in the pool with him, starting in the shallow end, showing him that I’m here for him, with him, and we only go at his comfortable pace. Customer Service: During my time bartending at a wedding, I observed the bride and groom were too busy to have a chance to have a drink together as a married couple. I noticed they finally had a quiet moment so, I brought them both two flutes of champagne, which they were very appreciative to receive. Customer service means going above and beyond the standard to ensure the customer is satisfied and makes their day while doing so. Problem Solving: During a two-week European trip with colleagues from college, I faced many problem-solving challenges. While they started in Spain, I began in Belgium. We planned to meet in Madrid, but first, I had to navigate alone with limited Spanish and no cell service. Despite getting lost and struggling to communicate, I persevered, eventually reuniting with my friends, showcasing my will, resilience, and intuition amidst the chaos of a foreign country. Multi Tasking: The ability to focus on many tasks at once and allocate time accordingly so each task can be executed properly. After recently receiving my BS from FSU, I’m continuing my education by taking on an MBA. At the same time, I’m in a business development mentorship program with an industry expert, while also involving myself in local young entrepreneurial groups here in Charlotte. Communication: A “we process not a me process”. The nuance of communication is everywhere in my background. From my family to my coworkers, and my community as a whole, interpersonal skills are the essence of sound communication and connecting with others. Integrity: Life isn’t about what we do when people are watching, it’s about what we do when no one is watching, and I take pride in doing what I think is morally right all the time no matter who is watching. As a bartender, it was very easy to pocket tip money, but we all split it at the end of the night. This required integrity from me especially when customers tipped large amounts and indicated it was for personal use based on the service I provided.
