ABOUT DOM G.

My background is a mixture of technical skills combining hands on experience, software architecture and leadership knowledge built over 15 years of professional working experiences. Throughout the cycle of software creation I always see and judge the bigger and more holistic picture carefully balancing code quality and delivery with specific attention to the socio-technical aspect of team alignment and coordination, while practicing and orchestrating different flavours of work management methodologies, being those: scrum, kanban, waterfall.Over the years as individual contributor, coach or senior manager, I delivered successful software solutions for a variety of different businesses: e-commerce, publishers, no-profit organisations, SaaS products, as well as critical and highly scalable micro-services solutions for financial services and investment banks.Academically trained in Java, I can be still hands on and proficient in modern Object Oriented PHP, Python, Typescript, SOLID principles, relational databases and so called “no-sql”. With my background rooted in software architecture, modular design and cloud native patterns, I managed and helped many other engineers to deliver best in class reusable, clean, testable and maintainable code that constantly deliver business value.
