ABOUT DOMENICO MARIO GIAMUNDO
Dr Giamundo graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli; he then specialised in Cardiology at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. He currently works in the Cardiology Department of Casilino Hospital and at the University Clinic and Sports Medicine Centre at Foro Italico. Since December 2025, he has been a Fellow of the Italian Society of Cardiology (FISC). He obtained a Level II Master\'s Degree in Cardiac Intensive Care at the University of Padua and Level II Master\'s Degree in Advanced Echocardiography in clinical practice at the University of Siena. He mainly deals with clinical cardiology, echocardiography and sport’s cardiology as well as being involved in research through scientific publications. He collaborates with Peer4Med as a lecturer in Cardiology for the preparation of the SSM test (he previously collaborated with AIMS and SpecialQuiz).He is also active in the field of scientific dissemination, collaborating with Cardiolink Scientific by writing abstracts of the main scientific articles.
