About Mikschal Johanison D.
After serving honorably in the US Army with 21 years of service, I returned to school to study acupuncture. I have been in private practice since 2009 serving the community with acupuncture and herbal medicine. I am passionate about living a healthy life for both mind and body and dedicated to the practices of meditation, self-awareness and living a balanced life for the benefit of myself and others. In addition to speaking publicly about whole body wellness, I am on faculty with Lotus Professional College in Richmond, VA. My life and professional experience includes broad and diverse skill-sets which I am able to employ in my private practice, writing and publishing, teaching and nonprofit work.
