Working as an interior designer for a theater design firm specializing in the entertainment venue industry- Experience in handling large-scale projects across all design phases while managing multiple projects- Collaborating with a diverse, multidisciplinary team on projects spanning Canada, the United States, South America, and Asia- Leading the development of interior design concepts and coordinating with both internal and external experts- Contributing to crafting ambiance perspectives by collaborating with the Architecture and Graphic Design departments, ensuring a qualitative review of the final outcome- Conducting thorough research on finishes and FFE (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), maintaining constant communication with suppliers, and managing sample orders- Overseeing the design development and specification of finishes and FFE throughout the entirety of each project, ensuring compliance with relevant criteria and codes- Supervising and actively participating in the creation of material technical sheets for each project, utilizing tools such as Revit, Photoshop, and InDesign- Preparing physical binders containing specification sheets and physical samples, and ensuring their timely updates for both internal and client reference- Managing budgets for OSCI (Owner-Supplied Contractor Installed) and OSOI (Owner-Supplied Owner Installed), including FF & E costs- Updating the Material Library and conducting research on high-end, cost-efficient, custom and LEED-compliant products- Coordinating effectively with clients, architects of record, general contractors, and representatives to maintain project quality and adherence to requirements.
