ABOUT SYED SAAD
Dr. Syed Saad is an Engineering Lecturer at MakeUK and a pronounced digital education activist with a D.Eng (UTP, MY) & M.Eng (LJMU, UK) resp.He has been awarded - outstanding research performance award by Universiti Teknologi Petronas Malaysia, outstanding performance as a research cluster head in CECOS University Pakistan, endorsements from European Union Ambassador to Pakistan Dr. Riina Kionka and Tunisian Ambassador on authoring first book on Artificial Intelligence in Pakistan.In a very brief time, Dr. Syed Saad has helped raise awareness in more than 2500 students from diverse backgrounds in remote areas of Pakistan to get certifications from IBM, Oracle, Mathworks, Project Management Institute, ESRI, Elsevier, and Bentley free of cost.With more than 70 journal, conference and book chapter articles, Dr. Syed Saad also serves as a professional reviewer of many esteemed journals including but not limited to, i.e. Elsevier, Emerald, Wiley, MDPI, Springer.Dr. Syed Saad\'s research interests encompass a wide range of cutting-edge technologies in the field of civil engineering, including Building Information Modeling (BIM), the Internet of Things (IoT), Robotics, Digital Twins, Cyber Physical Systems, Automated Progress Monitoring, Time Series Analysis, Decision Support Systems, and Artificial Intelligence. He possesses extensive expertise in Matlab, R-Studio, Grasshopper, C#, Python, and VBA.He also serves the Research Cluster as a founding member and Chief Research Officer (CRO). He developed first of its kind research hierarchy in Birmingham, including roles like research executive (REX), senior research cluster member (SRCM), junior research cluster member (JRCM MS/BS), Digitally Skilled Engineers Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and Level 3.
