ABOUT MICHAEL KANEVSKY
Dr. Michael Kanevsky founded the Centre Médical - Dr.K - Well Center for Integrative and Myofascial Medicine. Dr. K also practices critical care and served as Medical Director of an Intensive Care Unit in Montreal. Prior to the Pandemic, Dr.K spent decades practicing, teaching and promoting sustainable global medicine, community oriented primary care, and prior to COVID, had significant epidemic experience in Haiti during the UN Cholera outbreak of 2010 as an MD volunteer in the PAP ER, ICU, Ward and as volunteer Peds Medical Director of an Orphanage where he was able to reverse the Cholera outbreak that was impacting more than 250 incredible children in residence. Dr.K is passionate and driven about practicing & teaching Integrative Family Medicine, Myofascial Medicine and advises and consults for the health \'big\' tech sector x > 2 decades to ensure safe, holistic and impactful innovations across a spectrum of digital therapeutics. Dr. K\'s trans-disciplinary approach works with students, researchers, health care leaders, ethicists, futurists. Dr.K consults for large tech stakeholders to promote ethical, evidence-based, non-invasive, tech innovations that treat the 21st century human and system pathologies of ‘Isolation, Fragmentation, Misinformation and Sedentarism’ while ensuring a focus on the patient, and feature family and community as a multimodal healing collaborative. By launching the Centre Médical - Dr.K - Well Center for Integrative Center for Innovation and Myofascial Medicine as a Living Lab for digital therapeutics, Dr. K and the team provide space for innovation and incubation of impactful, EBM digital therapeutics the community. The Centre also provides a unique didactic and experiential medical education, clinical and research opportunity to engage our Fascial system as a foundational neuro-endocrine, vasculo-lymphatic, communication matrix and a critical organ system for understanding and treating a majority of pain and other pathologies. Dr.K has also co-founded, spearheaded, and launched multiple local and global initiatives for evidence based impactful and sustainable COPC interventions including: The UVM - CVPH Family Medicine Residency, St. Kitts & Nevis Federal Health Education Needs Assessment, UN HAITI Myofascial Optimization Initiative, Global MyoFascial Optimization Training and Certification in Engeye -UGANDA, Montreal Virtual Medical Center - Virtual Town Pandemic Task Force Initiative for TeleEmpathy ™ and Bimodal Optimization of Systemic Medical Fragmentation, and founded CONNECTIN.io - TeleEmpathy ™.
