Providing comprehensive inpatient care to cardiology patients, including performing regular rounds, assessing patient conditions, and updating care plans.• Assisting in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of cardiovascular diseases, including conditions like myocardial infarction, heart failure, arrhythmias, and hypertension. • Monitoring and responding promptly to acute cardiovascular events such as acute coronary syndrome, arrhythmias, and cardiac arrest, under the guidance of senior cardiologists. • Gaining hands-on experience in ECG interpretation, identifying common and complex arrhythmias, and providing treatment recommendations. • Administering medications, including anticoagulants, antihypertensives, and antiarrhythmics, and monitoring patient responses. • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, cardiology specialists, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement patient care plans. • Performing and interpreting non-invasive cardiac tests like echocardiograms, stress tests, and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring. • Assisting in cardiac catheterization procedures and gaining exposure to interventional cardiology techniques.• Providing pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing cardiac surgeries, ensuring proper recovery, and managing complications. • Documenting and maintaining accurate patient records, including medical histories, examination findings, and treatment outcomes.• Educating patients and families on lifestyle modifications and cardiac rehabilitation to improve long-term heart health. • Monitoring and managing cardiovascular risk factors such as cholesterol, blood pressure, and diabetes to prevent complications and enhance patient outcomes.• Ensuring adherence to medical safety standards, including infection control, and managing adverse drug reactions in cardiovascular treatments.
