ABOUT GIULIANO LO BIANCO

Dr. Giuliano Lo Bianco is a renowned medical specialist in Anesthesia and Pain Therapy, ozone therapy, and percutaneous radio/echo-guided interventions. With a career marked by deep dedication to research and advanced practice in the field of pain therapy, he has collaborated with leading experts in Italy and internationally. Since 2020, Dr. Lo Bianco has played a prominent role at Fondazione G. Giglio di Cefalù, providing clinical and research services in pain management and neuromodulation. In the same institution, he has served as the Head of the Operational Unit for Analgesia and Percutaneous Surgery. His expertise in the field has been shared through teaching at prestigious academic institutions. Dr. Lo Bianco has been a lecturer at the University of Palermo for the Second-Level Master\'s in Pain Therapy and at the University of Pavia for the University Master\'s in Pain Therapy. He earned a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, focusing on advanced research in Pain Therapy, from the University of Catania. His commitment to expanding knowledge led him to complete a Fellowship in Neuromodulation and Pain Medicine at Basildon University Hospital with Prof. Simon Thomson and to achieve Advanced Pain Training at the Faculty of Pain Medicine at the University of London. Dr. Lo Bianco has also obtained significant certifications, including FIPP (Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice) from the World Institute of Pain (WIP) in September 2022 and the European Diploma in Pain Medicine (EDPM) from the European Pain Federation (EFIC) in the same year. His leadership in the field is further highlighted by his role as Director and Organizer of the Mediterranean Pain Forum. Additionally, he has served as a lecturer for the Advanced Algology Foundation ISAL\'s Course of Perfection in Algological Sciences and completed the Biennial Master\'s in Pain Medicine at Advanced Algology in 2017. Dr. Giuliano Lo Bianco earned his degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Palermo with honors and distinction, receiving a score of 110/110. He also obtained specialization in Anesthesia, Resuscitation, Intensive Care, and Pain Therapy from the same university with a score of 50/50, confirming his academic and professional excellence.
