With a background spanning law enforcement, firefighting, emergency medical response, machining, welding, and millwright work, I bring a practical understanding of how equipment, people, and processes interact on the production floor.As Safety Manager for Gemstone Foods, I lead OSHA compliance, training, incident investigations, hazard mitigation, and emergency preparedness in a high-volume poultry processing environment. By combining technical depth with hands-on field experience, I design safety systems that reduce risk without slowing production. Since moving into this role, I have driven our DART rate down from 5.2 to 2.43 through targeted training, proactive hazard identification, and strong partnerships with operations and maintenance.My credentials include OSHA 132 and 192, HAZWOPER 40, Fire Instructor, multiple firefighting certifications, APOST, First Responder, Pyrotechnician, and ICS.
