Now spending most of my time apart from family duties supporting the amazing volunteers and paid team at The Albany Theatre in Coventry and serving as a magistrate (adult and family) in Coventry and Warwickshire. I now find that changing nappies at age 97 kills your knees! Over my eclectic career - teacher, lecturer, house husband caring for two under-five daughters, radio and TV journalist and presenter then moving into business and commerce in sales, marketing and product development, committed to organisational excellence I developed a strong track record in the complex Education, NHS, UK Local Government public service and Defence sectors, with a particular focus on helping teachers to help learners. I have been labelled entrepreneurial and innovative and accused of offering thought-leadership and creating value - lovely buzzy words of course.
