About Daniel Russell
When I was six, I dragged my family\'s garage shelves to the curb and set up shop. My first two products: multi-colored bears stamped with my mom\'s cookie cutters from homemade playdough and quartz rocks scavenged from the empty lot next door.50¢ each.My biggest sale came later when I spent a full morning creating a shapes-and-colors book using scissors, crayons, and printer paper. I even stapled a little \"pocket\" on the back to hold cut-out shapes. A couple driving by took pity, saw it was my highest-priced item at $2, and bought it for their family library.I haven\'t changed much since.You’ve probably heard of “T-shaped” people with broad experience and one area of deep expertise. Well, I’m a rectangle. I have broad AND deep expertise gained through education (history and economics undergrad, corporate law in law school), a dynamic career path (politics, finance, software sales, law, marketing, entrepreneurship), and insatiable curiosity.Proudest career achievements:‣ Graduating from college in 3 years with a Fulton Scholar Award‣ Receiving job offers from all 4 of my internships‣ Setting a first-year sales record at Qualtrics‣ Serving as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Law, Economics & Policy‣ Launching a software startup during my final year of law school that drew attention from Fast Company, Inc, Entrepreneur, and from employees at 20% of the Fortune 100.(It ultimately failed; learned a lot)‣ Passing the Bar Exam while running a startup‣ Growing Go Fish Digital into an Inc. company that advised Fortune 500 executives, employed over 200 people, and helped countless businesses succeed
