About Daniel Bui

In 2020 I was curious about blockchain after listening to a podcast, Crypto 101. Since then, playing with smart contracts has exposed me to decentralized finance and investment in startups without a broker and being an accredited investor. What sparked my interest was learning how decentralized finance can be inclusive and open opportunities in emerging and evolving established markets. With my new interest in finance, I joined Fidelity. I gained valuable interpersonal skills at Fidelity. I assisted customers with withdrawing 401k\'s, taking out loans, and triaged/escalated niche problems the customers presented. With the valuable experience and confidence gained. I felt the push to pursue my passion in technology, where I\'ve always been weary about until I started networking and gained encouragement and advice. In my free time, I’ve built cryptocurrency mining rigs and PCs. Also, in 2022 I attended Consensus (a Blockchain Conference), Algorand Developer Portal, and Reach Summit. I\'ve minted NFT’s and sold about 25 with a friend. I\'ve learned the fundamentals of C++ and JavaScript. Now learning DSA and building projects to get more experience. My goal is to get a professional job in tech and provide value to an organization that provides me with the opportunity. Then expand from there.
