Principal Architect for Insurance Services in the Small Business Services area. Maintained and enhanced a suite of internal and external applications for the ADP Insurance Agency (ADPIA) through Agile methodology. The business unit has the second largest client base in ADP with nearly 200K clients. Provide technical leadership across 6+ scrum teams (approximately 40-60 FTEs), with detailed focus on the external facing applications and improving the usability and effectiveness of our main service application. Defined and reduced technical debt backlog and introduced performance and operational efficiencies. Documented key architecture and development decisions. Prototype and develop proof of concepts for new and emerging technology integrated across the business unit, including the use of Spring Cloud, AWS and Kubernetes for new application deployment architectures. Developed and designed with Next-Generation application architectures using React, NodeJS, and Mongo as well as orchestration and business process management. Led the implementation of the first mobile experience for the Agency. Architected the deployment of new customer self service tools and employee portal integration for our clients and their employees to meet KPIs of 10K/yr call reductions and 10% increase in self service. Maintained security compliance and industry mandated Cyber Security regulations.
