Deepwater 4-Component Ocean Bottom Node (OBN) Seismic Data Processing & Quality Control at TGS• Imported continuously recorded SEGY data from deployed and recovered OBN nodes, segmenting continuous recordings into individual shot records.• Performed QC on inline/crossline nearline shot data to identify and flag recording issues for resolution in the QC workflow.• Troubleshot and validated linear moveout (LMO) velocity applications to ensure data accuracy prior to client delivery.• Identified and corrected direct current (DC) bias in recovered node data to maintain signal integrity.• Conducted QC and applied corrections on hydrophone and multi-component (X, Y, Z geophone) recordings to address data quality issues.• Analyzed and corrected frequency spectrum anomalies across nodes and lines to ensure seismic data fidelity.• Corrected OBN clock time drift, including linear, quadratic, bulk shift, and complex drift variations.• Generated and delivered final SEGY data products of optimized OBN node recordings for client use.
