ABOUT DAN PEARSON

I am an experienced IT professional with a large variety of experience within most areas of IT. This includes Infrastructure, Management Reporting, Project Management, Budget Management, Man Management and Governance frameworks. I am an excellent communicator who enjoys sharing knowledge as well as learning new skills, working to the ITIL framework. I have extensive experience with a host of different software applications and am able to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly. I have designed and implemented new infrastructure solutions, including building and refitting secure comms rooms and designed solutions with multiple points of failure, including site to site backups and migration of systems to hyper converged platforms. I have guided businesses through Cyber Essentials Certifications and have good understandings of ISO27001 guidelines, GDPR requirements within IT and data classification and retention.I have written, and able to write new Information Security Management System (ISMS) manuals and associated polices, procedures and work instructions to ensure solid frameworks are in place for organisations to comply to.More recently I have focussed on the Microsoft Power Platform and have achieved certification as a Power Platform Solutions Architect. I have written and deployed a suite of Power Apps with workflows utilising the Power Platform to automate standardised tasks improving efficiently.I am friendly and enthusiastic and able to work in a variety of different environments.
