I am a skilled Editor with an in-home edit suite and expertise in TV, including production, local news, design, engineering and R&D, with an emphasis in editing and post-production. I am certified in Premiere Pro and an Avid Certified Instructor and have proven training acumen while teaching in a class setting or hands on in both small groups and large. I can also provide consulting proficiency on workflow efficiency and systems development. I am known for delivering on a vision with finesse and speed while utilizing audience awareness and intended direction to create engagement. Teaching. Not just software, but processes, workflow, troubleshooting, soft skills and hard skills from past lives. That\'s why I mention freight handling. I draw as much on handling freight and waiting tables as I do directing, writing and editing. Every day. I have experience with large training initiatives; while at Turner Studios I was the primary architect of StudiosX, a multi-day, multi-class training seminar for our staff, taught by our staff. I personally led classes in Premiere Pro Multi-Cam & After Effects for editors. I also led panel discussions in \"When good Sessions Go Bad\" and \"Fix it in Pre\". I\'ve got over thirty years of experience in TV, including production, local news, editing, design, engineering and R&D, with an emphasis in editing and post-production. My toolset includes the Adobe Production Suite (AfterFX, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Audition), Final Cut Studio, Avid Media Composer, Grass Valley, Ampex Century Quantel Paintbox V Series, Chyron SuperScribe, Clark C500 forklift. In addition to 3 editing Emmys, I\'ve also won for audio editing, and finish audio on every cut. Approval videos should sound like the finished product. I am a musician and also bring that sensibility to my cutting. I\'ve worked as a graphic designer and am adept at using other\'s design templates and retrofitting existing projects. I can build from scratch in AfterFX and Photoshop. Most importantly, I have the ability to get along with most everybody. I’ve worked with producers of all experience levels. I invest myself in each project, contribute to the creative process and take pride in doing what I do well.
