About Denis Francesco Modugno

I am a dedicated UX designer with a BFA in Graphic Design from BYU-Idaho, graduating with a 3.8 GPA. Currently, I work full-time at FamilySearch, where I collaborate across multiple teams to address organizational challenges. My role includes designing and testing components for the design system team, ensuring they are usable by all teams, and organizing the design system.In addition to my design system responsibilities, I lead UX design for a product team and assist a research team in consolidating their contextual inquiry findings, including affinity mapping, consolidation, and generating design ideas.My journey began in Italy, where I graduated from high school as a computer programmer with a score of 90/100. I served in the Italian Army (civil service) as a graphic designer for a travel company, where I honed my skills with Adobe Suite and provided technical support for Apple devices. This experience laid the foundation for my expertise in graphic design.I also dedicated two years to a humanitarian mission in England for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Upon returning, I worked for a telecommunications company in Italy for four years, taking on roles as a Project Manager and Project Manager Assistant.In 2011, I moved to the United States to pursue my bachelor\'s degree, and since then, I have continued to grow and refine my skills in UX design and project management.
