I build distributed systems and data/ML platforms: high-throughput ingestion, large-scale compute, and the infrastructure ML teams rely on.In recent years I’ve led design and re-architecture of: • Multi-tenant ingestion frameworks built for continuous, production-grade data intake • Spark/Trino/Delta compute layers and metadata-driven pipelines operating over trillions of rows • Feature/compute platforms that power ML workloads (heavy backfills, frequent recomputation, high-cardinality feature sets) • Production operability: reliability, performance tuning, cost/perf tradeoffs, and platform tooling used by multiple teamsI’m increasingly focused on high-throughput compute for ML systems — including GPU-accelerated paths when it materially improves throughput/latency. I’m actively deepening my hands-on work in CUDA and kernel-level optimization as part of that trajectory.I do best in backend/infra roles close to ML systems: Data/ML Platform, Distributed Systems, Compute/Performance Engineering, and “systems for ML” (data, evals, training-adjacent pipelines). I like ambiguous problems, owning them end-to-end, and mentoring engineers.Background: M.Eng. in Computer Engineering (NTUU “KPI”), continuous learning across ML, big data, and systems.
