About Dwight Miller

As a Principal Consultant at Parametrix, I lead project teams, including engineers, planners, and scientists, delivering industrial and agency environmental infrastructure projects. My practice includes natural resources assessment and restoration; industrial environmental engineering, permitting and compliance; solid and hazardous waste/resources; and sustainability planning, solutions, and measurement. As a Parametrix practice leader in Climate Change and Sustainability, I engage with Parametrix staff and clients in developing sustainable solutions for internal operations and our client’s public works projects.I maintain my professional engineering registration in Washington, Idaho, Hawaii, Montana, and Nebraska. I currently manage industrial compliance, alternative energy, wastewater, and solid and hazardous waste projects involving facility siting, design, construction, permit compliance, and operation. In addition, I have experience in regulatory analysis and permit compliance and negotiation for material recovery and waste facility development and closure. I have successfully managed facility siting, permitting, design, and construction projects throughout the Northwest, Hawaii, and Nebraska. I actively participate in ACEC, APWA, SAME, and SWANA, both in leadership and technical programming.I actively engage with higher education as a member of the Washington State University Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture Executive Leadership Board (past chair).
