I am currently pursing my accounting degree and am taking courses via Sophia and Study.com to transfer to WGU where I will complete my degree. I aspire to work in the field of accounting and data analytics. I am making this transition from seasonal tax preparation to full time career in the accounting/analytics realm so that I can grow in my career. As an entry-level candidate early in my pursuit of an accounting degree, I bring real world experience in federal tax preparation having managed multiple tax seasons for diverse filers. My core competencies consists of- Individual Income Tax: Preparation of 1040, including EIC, additional Child Tax credits, Other Dependent Tax Credits, Education Tax Credits, and filing statuses - Schedule A: Determining if the tax payer has enough itemized deductions that would total more than the standard deduction - Small Business Filings: Simplified Schedule C and Schedule E preparation - Military Tax Returns: Knowing and or quickly able to research the rules when it comes to preparing state tax returns for active duty personnel- Compliance: Ensuring accuracy in reporting for small businesses and independent contractors. I am seeking full-time W-2 opportunities (currently interested in internships or junior staff roles) where I can apply my growing technical knowledge of GAAP, other accounting principles, and maybe even some of my SQL skills. I am not open to 1099 contract offers, business ventures involving sales, brokerage, insurance sales, commissioned-based roles, or side-hustle partnerships.    Update and track back stock sporting goods inventory. Ensuring accurate account avoids the possibility of not having enough on hand or being over stocked with particular merchandise. This is especially important for fast selling goods as well as goods that may not sell as often. Unload and sort freight into pallets. Sort merchandise based on isle and shelf location. Stock merchandise in the appropriate section making sure to match UPC label and price. Manage back-stock by updating inventory count that does not fit on the sales floor.
