About Daniel Williams
Integration: Project Controls+ERPI lead the Project Controls Integration Group at Calance. We specialize in integrating project controls and management systems such as Procore and PMWeb with ERP/Accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, CMIC, MRI, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, and SAP. Our clients are involved in construction, whether as a pure construction company, owner/developer, or public entity. This includes small residential construction through major airports and school districts. Our cloud-based integration system, Dimension, makes setting up integrations quick and simple. And our team is solely focused on the integration work. Every day we are implementing new integrations, setting up new clients, testing new product versions, or working to resolve integration-related issues. As such we are experts in construction accounting and we bring that expertise to create the fastest, most reliable integrations on the market. That focus is our strength. We work closely with our partners such as Procore and MRI so that we can be ahead of any changes to their products or their APIs. Question: How do you make sure your integrations are compatible with the next version of your system? Answer: You don\'t, we do.
Experience
Director of Integration
Jan 2014 — Present · Boulder, CO, US
Calance was formerly called Partners Consulting. With 2014 came not only a new name but a new direction to grow our presence both in the US and offshore. To that end my role is now director of the integration and development (IND) group, and my responsibility is to grow that group and increase our presence in the market. The integration part of our group is widely recognized for its expertise in integrating data between ERP systems such as JD Edwards and PeopleSoft and Project Management Systems, such as Primavera. Our consultants and engineers are well-versed in this field and acknowledged both for their technical expertise and their comprehension of the complex world of Architecture, Engineering, and Construction. On the development side we are creating custom applications using the latest mobile and web technologies, staying on top of evolving consumer needs. This means using HTML5 to deliver apps that feel native yet work across devices from desktop to tablets to mobile phones. It also means paying attention to current trends on user experience and app usage, and re-thinking how these services are delivered, taking advantage of cloud resource for hosting apps and distributing data. Our target market remains other business and government entities, and we continue to deliver quality services to our long-term clients.
