I’m a Trust and Estate/Wealth Planning attorney with over twenty years of experience. My clients include individuals and families with matters related to domestic and cross-border estate, trust and business succession planning and administration. I also represent large institutional executors and trustees, individual fiduciaries and sometimes beneficiaries in estate and trust accounting and administration matters and general fiduciary representation.I focus my practice in the areas of estate and trust planning and administration, estate and gift taxation and elder law including Medicaid planning and guardianship. I also represent trustees (both corporate and individuals) in administering trusts and in accounting proceedings before Surrogate\'s Courts in NY. I have decades of experience preparing estate planning documents such as wills, trust agreements, living wills, health care proxies and power of attorney designations. My practice includes the formation of not-for-profit charitable and civic organizations including private family foundations. In addition, I am a member of the Canadian Cross Border Team and work with clients on Cross-Border planning and administration. I am also experienced in assisting large institutions including universities and religious organizations in re-purposing funds bequeathed to them when the original purposes are no longer attainable.
